Sethina Edwards - President & Founder, Communications Director

Sethina Edwards founded MomMD in 1999 when seeking information for mothers in medicine. She has several years in e-commerce, hi-tech and Internet marketing. Ms. Edwards has been interviewed for many publications including: Wall St. Journal; Washington Post; Female Physician; Women in Medicine; Chicago Hospital News; Superior Consultant; Monster.com; and many more. In January 2004, she was featured on national TV as a"Smart Woman" for Ivanhoe Broadcast News. Ms. Edwards has also worked as a marketing consultant and publicist for 'dot com' companies, ad agencies and technology firms. Ms. Edwards has also worked on web site strategies for leading companies such as Borders and Kaiser Permanente. Previously, Ms. Edwards was Research Manager for Quarterdeck Corporation and has held managerial and analyst positions at CIS, GST Internet and Hawaii Online. Ms. Edwards has a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Sociology and Social Policy and a Master of Science in International Development, Administration and Planning (with Commendation) from the University of Bristol (UK). Ms. Edwards is currently a premed volunteer at a local university hospital, she is also a certified professional baker, and is the mother of two young daughters. Message from the Founder

David Edwards - Chief Technology Officer

David Edwards has over 10 years experience in IT management, technology and online strategy working for fortune 500 and small enterprise business. Mr. Edwards has extensive knowledge of product development, technology implementation, and project management. Mr. Edwards has also worked in the branding industry a linguist and strategist. Mr. Edwards graduated from the University of Oxford (UK) with an M.Phil in Linguistics and the University of Warwick (UK) with a B.A. in Economics.

Geetanjali Dhillon, J.D. - Business Strategy & Development

Ms. Dhillon is an attorney, mother of two young children and founder of Pomegranate, an organization dedicated to helping women realize their highest potential. With over 10 years experience, Dhillon expresses her passion for empowering women through advocacy, civil rights litigation, personal coaching and workshops.

Judy Colwell, M.A. - Advisor Medical School Admission Services

Ms. Colwell spent the past ten years (1990 through 1999) as Assistant Director of Admissions at Stanford U. Medical School, including voting membership on the Admissions Committee. During this time she has made regular presentations to pre-med groups nationwide. She began her medical school admissions consulting business after leaving Stanford at the end of 1999, but still volunteers at Stanford as an Academic Advisor to undergraduate freshman/sophomores, most of whom are pre-meds, so is constantly in touch with the concerns of pre-meds. In addition, she has a graduate degree in counseling psychology, and was a biology major and pre-med student herself during her undergraduate years at Northwestern University.
