I personally think hiring a young nannay is potentially asking for a lot of trouble, if you know what I mean.
If/when I get to this decision (I haven’t made up my mind about having another child), I’ll be looking for a “grandma” type as they tend to be more nuturing. However, I do understand the idea that she’ll come into our home with ideas of her own. Who knows, perhaps I can learn a thing or two. And a background check is a must!
