I thought about this MANY times too. At each level of the game: college, med school, residency. There is somethign about the Air Force that I have always loved. But jsut as was said on one fo the other posts, I think what it came down to was…when an emergency arises, you go, and I didn’t like that uncertainty. The other reason I was leary was because if you go into it before residency, they can “recommend” that you go into a certain field of medicine; as I knew I had always wanted Ortho, another uncertainty factor I didn’t want to take chances with.
