Hi. My name is Jeanine and I am in between my first and second year of medical school in Chicago this year. My soon-to-be-husband (on 12/28) thinks I am absolutely nuts for wanting to start our family right away (in the next year).
Is raising a child attainable for a Mom med student and a full-time working Dad? Both of our families live on the east coast, so it would just be us and the baby.
Please help if you have any experience with this!
This goes for anyone who desperately wants children. If you want it bad enough, you can definitely make it happen, overcoming all of the obstacles that are set before you. That is IF you want it bad enough. You may find that having a child deals making sacrifices after sacrifices. It all depends on how willing you are to make them, how much of your life you are willing to give.
Are you crazy for wanting children? Certainly not. Whatever you may decide, I’m sure you’ll make the most of it and you will succeed. The best of luck to you.
