Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Nevada School of Medicine. Reno Campus. Full-time, tenure track. Applicants must have M.D. or Ph.D. degree and be a behavioral or neuroscientist with a track record of obtaining extramural funding for investigator-initiated research. They should have experience teaching at graduate school level. A clinical license is desirable. Must be proficient in the English language. Responsible for teaching medical students, residents and fellows in the neuroscience and behavioral science aspects of clinical psychiatry. Will be expected to assume a leadership role in developing a behavioral/ neuroscience research team in collaboration with basic scientists, clinicians and behavioral scientists. If licensed clinician, may participate in clinical care in settings affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry.
