I am needing to take all my chem, physics and org chem classes. I am wondering if it makes a difference to med schools if I take them at a comm college vs 4-yr school?
You would need to make sure that they meet the requirements of the med school(s) that you are applying to. The only question I would have is if they would be a high enough level. For sure probably Gen Chem and maybe Physics. I know that the Comm college near us doesn’t have a high enough Organic and it doesn’t have the upper level bio electives that I want to take, but yours may be different. If you are interested in some specific med schools, I would call the admissions office and check to see if they can give you any info. I did that, and they were very helpful in terms of telling me exactly what I needed.
