I am student doing my undergraduate work in a smaller somewhat isolated area in Central Oregon. Being an older student I have studied what I need to do to be successful in the med school application process. One of the key things is research. Does anyone have suggestions on how to find those type of opportunities or make your own, when located away from a large University or city. There is a community college here and then we have a capstone unviversity system here-kind of a half university I guess.

    Thanks,

If you are willing to go somewhere for about ten weeks in the summer, there are tons of programs out there. If you are interested let me know and I will post a link.

Thanks, I would appreciate that. I have found a few of the ten week programs on the net, but many of them are limited to specific groups of people. Any links that you have found would be greatly appreciated. There is so much available on the net today that it often takes some time to weed through the chaff.
