GPA low ?/

Hi, my college gpa is 2.78 but i majored in business. I am now currently enrolled at a post bac program and wanted to know if i have a 3.7 gpa now is that good enough to get in to med school with extras. thanks plus including on the practice tests i am taking a 30 on the MCAT

Hey watergirl,

Having good grades now will definitely help you. Do you know what your whole GPA averages out to? How’s your science GPA?

hey spacecadet,
Um my gpa total is a 3.3 but my science gpa is 3.7. What about those grades..the reason why i first asked is someone told me the possibilty of me getting in with a low undergrad gpa was very hard , even though i have pulled up my gpa considerably. Thanks for any input

I think you have a decent chance with that science & overall GPA. Certainly do your best to make your application look good: have some extra curriculars, shadow some physicians, etc.
