how do I balance career and family????

I’m a second year med student trying to figure how the heck I’m going to be able to balance my passion for medicine and be able to have a family and be able to spend time with my kids (I don’t want my kids to spent most of their childhood in day care). I want to work part-time but i’m not sure if that is even feasible. I would love to speak with anyone that has worked part-time as a physician and learn about how they managed to do it and how it is working for them.
