I am a 26 year old divorced mother of one. My daughter just turned 4. I was a premed student when I started college but got married young and needed to complete a degree quickly. I graduated with a BS in Psychology. I graduate with a MS in Human Services in May of 2003. I am lacking 5 classes to have the prerequites for Med school. My undergrad GPA was only 3.2 but I have a 4.0 in grad school. I have always wanted to be a doctor. I would love to hear from anyone who has overcome being a single parent in med school. I am interested in specializing in OB/GYN. I am at a point in my life where I feel that if I am going to go to med school ,I need to go soon. I don’t want to wake up when I am old and regret not being a doctor. Thanks for your time.
