M2 help me plan my life

I will start my second year in medical school in August. As the doom approaches, I am beginning to wonder how being a physician will direct all of my other life choices. How will this profession dictate when I have children, how many children I have, how much time I will spend with my family. I am looking for a mentor that can give me ideas about the best way to manage the family/work issues. I want to be at home when my kids go to school and get home. I want to go on family vacations. I want a life outside of my job.
