I want to take a prep course this summer, but I’m unsure as to which one I should take, Kaplan or Princeton. Does anyone have experience with either of these classes? Thanks!
I am in the Kaplan course. I find the tests very useful but the class room lectures are quite useless. All subjects are taught by the same person who took mcat 2 years ago. Unfortunately he doesn’t make us think. He only goes over passages from the Lesson book, which i can do at home. I plan to use the video lectures and work on the tests on my own.
I’m taking the Princeton Review and I am happy with it. We have lotf of study material, a good number of practice tests, fairly good teachers and good tutoring help. I’ll let you know at the end if I actually do well on my MCAT! 🙂
Thanks guys! I ended up signing up for Kaplan, because I wanted to spend less time in a focused study environment and more time studying on my own. Good luck to everyone who’s writing this summer!
