Practice funding advice Question

I am not a physician however, I do physician billing. A physician I worked with on temporary bases was having heavy financial problems with the practice due to bad previous decision making with billing and loss information. My question is Do any of you know of any special loan places or grants or place a physician can go to get back on track? The physician has a dual specialty family practice/pyschiatry? The physician is trying to avoid closing the practice and filing bankruptcy.

I don’t know of anything, but you could try the Small Business Administration. It seems more likely that the doc would have to take out a business loan or even consider a home equity loan.
