There is a gen chem that is directed towared non bio majors I have completed will this suffice to med school, especially since I had a different gen chem in Nursing. Currently I have just completed taking the gen chem bio majors take, but wondered if my previous work in chem would have sufficed. Would it have? to sum things up I had Chem 119 fast track gen chem geered toward nursing majors for a semster with lab. I have also had a year of nonbio major gen chem, with lab in addition to one semester of gen chem directed toward bio majors. My total credit hours in all these chems add up to 13 credits so far.
Medical schools want to see gen chem that folks entering professional schools will take (pre-pharm, pre-med, pre-pt) at my school the nursing majors do *not* take the chem that pre-meds take so beware..
