Unique opportunity (Full or Part Time) for USA-trained Internist at a leading preventive medicine with excellent life/work balance and great compensationThis is a unique opportunity for a highly qualified and motivated USA-trained Internist at a leading preventive medicine center in Central NJ. Positions are also available in our Connecticut and NY locations. The position is available full-time or part-time. Candidates must be Board Certified. This position provides an excellent life/work balance with regular hours (approx 8:30-4:30, M-F), no evening or weekend or holiday hours or on-call. We provide excellent benefits and highly competitive compensation. We do not participate with any insurance plans- your time is spent caring for patients, not fighting with payors.

You will work with a team of experienced Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Nurses and others to create a detailed and effective plan for maintaining health for our highly motivated patients.

You must have outstanding patient communication skills and an ability to write quickly and effectively. Good typing skills are helpful but not mandatory. You must be interested and motivated to spend extensive time with patients and enjoy the interaction. The emphasis is on providing highly attentive and individual care for each patient. You must also be capable of handling a wide range of primary care problems. A background in caring for lipid management, cardiovascular risk, obesity, metabolic syndrome, stress management and lifestyle-related issues is also helpful.
